3. Spring-loaded impact hammer test

The housing of the test specimen must be clean, brand-new, and intact, with all components properly installed, in accordance with the product’s factory-shipped condition;
If specified in the product standard, samples must be pretreated (e.g., powered on, or simulated to mimic the operating state of moving parts); if no such specifications exist, prepare the samples under normal temperature and pressure conditions.
3.2 Equipment Preparation

3.3 اختبار التأثير
Align the black part of the hammer head vertically with the test point, then press down on the black part in the direction of the arrow to release the impact hammer and complete the impact test.

Note: The theoretical service life of the spring inside the spring-loaded impact hammer is 50000 cycles. This means that after 50000 cycles of normal use, the impact energy of the hammer will change significantly, requiring either the purchase of a new unit or the return of the unit for recalibration.
4. إجراءات ما بعد الاختبار
4.1 Sample Preparation and Observation
Visual inspection: Check the sample housing for cracks, dents, or peeling, and check whether any fasteners are loose;
Functional Testing: When the sample is powered on, test whether all functions are operating normally and ensure there are no functional failures;
Determine whether the product meets the IK rating requirements based on the product standards, and record the test results (pass/fail).

Clean the surfaces of the equipment: Wipe down the test fixture, stage, and impact hammer with a dry cloth to remove dust and grease. Do not use water or corrosive cleaning agents;
Tidy up the test area: Remove any sample debris (if present), organize tools and accessories, and keep the area clean and tidy.
4.3 تخزين المعدات
After testing is complete, the device must be stored in a non-energetic state; that is, the impact energy must be released. Otherwise, remaining in an energized state for an extended period will cause spring fatigue and reduce the impact energy.

Common issues include: inaccurate impact energy, inability to store energy, and inability to release the impact hammer.
Possible causes: Excessive use of the device can cause the internal springs to inevitably wear out, resulting in reduced impact energy; improper operation or violent impacts may cause internal components to shift out of position, preventing the device from storing energy or releasing the impact hammer.
Solution: All of the above issues require disassembling the impact hammer for internal inspection, repair, and calibration. Once disassembled, the impact energy will change. Since users do not have an impact energy calibration device, please return the unit for repair if any of the above issues occur.
